Since then I've been running about 3x a week, doing little circuit sessions in my room and yesterday I signed up to the gym! I've always found it's so easy to get into an exercise routine and then I stop a couple of weeks later when I don't see the results I want and my motivation drops off rapidly - even though the results I want would be there if I kept at it.
I've found through time that it's important to surround yourself with things that will motivate you and keep you feeling as though you want to push for a result and I thought I'd share with you some of the things that I find inspire me to keep fit and healthy.
Pinterest is fast becoming my creative addiction. It is amazing how useful that website is, not just for compiling fitness inspiration but creating boards for posts I'm planning and creating little resources I can use for later. You can see some of the pictures I look at to get me moving in the morning, evening and as much as possible here.
Lastly the most important thing is having someone to exercise with or to push you. If it's just you, it can be incredibly hard - especially in the beginning, but having someone else who cares about it as much as you or just helps you get out of the bed in the morning makes the world of difference.
What do you do to motivate yourself?
