It has been absolutely ages since I've had my hair done! Nearing almost 2 months, I've been growing out a pixie cut and decided this weekend it was time to get my fringe back in, sort out my roots and perhaps slay a few split ends in the process. I'm new to the area having only moved here 4 weeks ago so I picked a hairdressers that looked alright for last Saturday and left 4 and a half hours later looking a bit like a startled scarecrow.
After spending the rest of the day sobbing on my boyfriend I frantically spent Sunday calling hairdressers to find somewhere open. We rushed to Cheltenham and begged them to please help me as I didn't feel that showing up to work on Monday morning with a bag over my head would make a very good impression.
This is the result! Admittedly a far cry from the gentle ash highlights I'd wanted on Saturday, I am in love with the result and think it's a fantastic change for Autumn! I'll admit it's taking a bit of getting used to but I think I'm going to enjoy being a brunette for the first time in my life! Sorry the photos are a bit rushed, but it's all I could manage before rushing off to work.
What do you think of the change? Are you doing something different for Autumn/Winter?
P.S - This weekend I made over 250 Google Friend Connect followers! Thank you so much to everyone for their support.

I had a haircut recently, it wasn't even a dye or anything, and I hated it! I hadn't even gone for a drastic crop, just the way my hair framed my face made me look AWFUL! It's fine now though :-)

DeleteLove your hair ma'am. I'm a new follower and love your blog! I'm sorry that the first hairdresser didn't work out! :O I hate that anxiety that you feel after a bad do and it feels like the world is crumbling down. I remember having a similar experience and my bf was like "it's just hair"... yeah I wanted to strangle him lol.
