MAC Lipstick: Girl About Town

Monday, 15 October 2012

I've seen this lipstick featured so many times by bloggers, but it was finally Kayleigh from Couture Girl that pushed me over the edge and I decided to pick this up. On a side note, she just hit 2,000 followers - an incredible milestone! Go check her out.

Anyhoo, I ordered this on-line as it's really hard to get anywhere near a MAC store where I'm currently living and I had faith in what the shade would be like after seeing it featured so much on blogs (aren't they just the best?). MAC wasn't kidding when they listed it as part of the 'amplified' range as it really is breathtakingly bright. Not one for the day, it is perfect for hitting the town (that's where the name comes from!). I find it's a tiny bit drying on the lips, but use a lip balm before hand and it's worth it as the product really does have incredible staying power.
Is there a particularly bright lipstick that you've been dying to try out and splurge on ?
