Weekend Wishlist #7: Picking a Winter Coat

Every year, the same old thing happens for me, autumn comes round and it starts to get colder.. As a result I start eyeing up coats and make a list of which ones I could get. Spend ages umming and ahhing because I don't want to make a bad choice because it's pricey to get a coat. I finally make a decision.. Go to buy it and by that point they're no longer stocked. Well that is not going to happen this year ! I am going to choose, purchase and wear a sexy new Winter Coat if it kills me!

Here are the four I'm currently umming over.. Yes they are from just Topshop and River Island, but it just so happens they were the only 2 stores where I could find styles I liked! Do you have your eyes on a winter coat?

1. Topshop - Petite Fur Lined Coat - £75
2. Topshop - Petite Check Wool Army Jacket - £70
3. River Island - Grey Tweed Biker Jacket - £60
4. River Island - Beige Double Breasted Mac - £65

  1. I bought my coat in summer for £49 in the Jack Wills sale, it's a navy quilted jacket. They've changed the collar slightly and now basically the same coat is being sold for £98.50!

  3. Every year it's like a ritual for me and my friend to choose our winter coats together for that year. We have to choose them together as our styles are so similar we would end up buying the same thing!

  4. I always find it so hard choosing a winter coat. I love Macs and always want a new one, but then find them too cold for winter :(

  8. So nice to see a fellow petite lady, I have a difficult time with coats but managed to find an amazing one in Oasis of all places! Lovely choices here, I'd wear them all haha! Hope to see photos of you wearing one of them soon!

    1. Thanks! Although I think i decided on the River Island one and it's already sold out on line! GRRRR! Going to check out the ones on Oasis-Stores - thanks for the recommendation. It's so hard to find coats that fit well when you're small! xxx

    Coat 3 is my favourite, but I suppose longer ones are generally more practical
