I'm not interested in becoming a diet type - they don't feel good for me and it always feels as though I'm doing it for a set time.. a weekend, a week..maybe a month and then after that I can return to what I ate before. Instead I want to change my habits and what I crave - this might be easier said than done!
I think I have the principles down: lots of smaller portions throughout the day instead of 3 set meals is supposed to stop me reaching for the sugar and instead maintain consistent energy levels. Planning my meals to keep me reaching for things I should eat and not the things I crave. Changing the proportions of veg and carb - getting higher levels of vitamins into my system.
