Revlon Lip Butters: Sweet Tart & Tutti Frutti

These little guys have been kicking up a fuss in the beauty blog-a-sphere for a while - and I have been strong and decided I didn't need them. Well I gave in last week as I wanted something a little balmier for my lips and I hate to admit it, but I did fall instantly in love.

They apply a surprisingly thick and pigmented layer of colour to the lips. They are quite sticky, but I find that disappears after you've pressed your lips together a few times and then they're incredibly comfortable to wear. The colours I had chose looked really flattering on the skin, although both were a bit too bright for normal day wear. I'm already eyeing up some more natural colours for everyday use and some of the sightly darker more vampy ones (have you seen Lollipop?! Drool...)

I tried swatching the products on my forearms but I couldn't get the lighting right.. I promise I will perfect this in the future for those of you who like swatch photos.
